Paloma Studios is a boutique interior design and renovation studio creating soulful, story-rich homes full of colour, character, and charm. Founded by designer and renovator Nina Meehan, we believe the best spaces are not cookie-cutter but deeply personal - layered with feeling, rooted in everyday rituals, and alive with bold, playful detail.

Our design style blends mid-century nostalgia with modern Australian living: confident use of colour, textural finishes, and thoughtful architectural touches that balance beauty with practicality. Every project is guided by our core values - individuality, emotional resonance, and story-led design, so your home doesn’t just look good, it feels like you.

CISCO

A nostalgic retreat on the quiet ridges of coastal Kahibah.

Tucked in sun-drenched Kahibah, this living room is a nostalgic nod to mid-century ease, wrapped in warm Australian light. Timber beams stretch across the ceiling like open arms, while ochre and terracotta seating anchor the space in earthy comfort beneath a glowing rice paper pendant.

Layered with touches of raffia, boucle, and burlwood timber, the room hums with quiet texture and poetic restraint. Thoughtful styling evokes a sense of soul and slowness, where golden light filters through sheers, time softens, and every detail feels both grounded and gently romantic.

AÉRI

A home designed to breathe.

AÉRI is a study in stillness ~ a renovation shaped by soft restraint, material honesty, and considered composition. This home invites pause, with each space curated to feel quiet yet purposeful.

In the kitchen, curved stone forms, tonal finishes, and sculptural lighting create a sense of grounded elegance. Light is filtered gently through linen sheers, while textured limestone anchors the space with warmth and subtle movement.

From inside to out, every detail is designed to shift with the day, layered, tactile, and intentionally pared back. AÉRI proves that neutral design can be just as expressive as colour, when led by feeling.
