OUR LATEST REAL RENOVATION PROJECT

Birdsong House

Birdsong House is the home of The Designory’s founder, Melissa Bonney. This project hasn’t gone exactly to plan. With the economy shifting, the property market uncertain, and budgets tighter than expected… Mel has had to rethink everything — balancing smart investments with budget-friendly updates to make her home truly work. And right now? It’s only half finished…

OUR LATEST REAL RENOVATION PROJECT

Banksia House

Banksia House is a 120-year-old farmhouse set in the Byron Bay hinterland, owned by The Designory’s co-owner Cat Gerke. This isn’t a full renovation. It’s something more considered. The intention with Banksia House is to bring soul back into the home — to honour its age & its character, while evolving it into a warm, layered Aussie farmhouse rich in texture, colour and feeling.
