Melbourne Ceramic Fair 2025
Melbourne Ceramic Fair began in 2019 as a grassroots weekend pop-up on Smith Street, Collingwood — a way for local ceramicists to connect, share their work, and celebrate the breadth of contemporary clay.
Founded by artists Kelly Murphy, Kate Brouwer and Kate Bowman, it has since grown into a vibrant ceramic events group, hosting curated markets, exhibitions and retail experiences across the year. Our calendar now includes a Mother’s Day pop-up in May and the flagship Melbourne Ceramic Fair in October, held at Northcote Town Hall.
At every event, we spotlight the work of emerging and established artists — makers who pour time, skill and care into creating one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces. From sculptural forms to tableware, jewellery to functional art, Melbourne Ceramic Fair is a celebration of clay, community and the makers behind it all.
