Our Highlights from Melbourne Design Show 2025

We just returned from a whirlwind 36 hours in Melbourne, soaking up the best of what’s next in the world of design. From the frontiers of sustainability to beautifully refined details, the show delivered a wave of inspiration that’s still rippling through our team.

Here’s our curated edit of the standout innovations and ideas that caught our eye—and have us thinking ahead to what’s possible in future projects.

1. Faucet Strommen – Figura Collection

Always a favourite, Faucet Strommen debuted their brand-new Figura Collection. Sleek finishes, refined profiles and beautiful tab-like details made this tapware feel more like sculptural hardware than plumbing essentials. Launching Monday June 16th—bookmark it.

2. Zeoform – Biodegradable Innovation

We were thrilled to discover that Zeoform—a sustainable lighting brand using waste paper and water to 3D-print zero-waste designs—is Byron-based like us! Fully biodegradable and surprisingly strong, it’s the kind of material innovation we love to champion.

3. Buster + Punch – Rock ‘n’ Roll Hardware

The OGs of bold, expressive hardware. Think attitude in a light switch. Buster + Punch continues to deliver high-style utility—now with local distribution in Australia. Yes, please.

4. Sleek Gym Equipment

Form finally meets function. This gym gear proves workout equipment doesn’t have to be an eyesore. Minimal, architectural, and display-worthy.

5. Häfele – Smart Storage Solutions

Reliable, smart, and always a step ahead. Häfele’s pull-down wardrobe system is the kind of simple-yet-brilliant solution we rely on in tight or vertical spaces. Always worth a visit.

6. ForestOne – DesignerOne Joinery

We loved the DesignerOne Collection—Australian-made, recycled particleboard with serious design credentials. Beautiful and sustainable, it’s already earmarked for one of our upcoming projects.

7. Volt – Integrated Solar Panels

We’ve had our eye on Volt for a while, and it was fantastic to see their latest integrated solar roofing up close. Smart, sleek, and future-ready—solar has never looked so good.

8. Loughlin Furniture – Joinery with Soul

From vanities to custom doors, Loughlin continues to impress with handcrafted detail. Their work is tactile, timeless, and full of character—we spotted their pieces in homes by Darren Palmer and Magdalena Roze for good reason.

9. Steel Window Design – Timeless Strength

Clean, functional, and architectural—Steel Window Design’s pieces are as impactful as they are timeless. You just know they’ll age gracefully.

10. Centor – Disappearing Flyscreens

Their retractable flyscreen system is all about invisible design. Seamless, lightweight, and clever—exactly how good design should feel.

11. Robert Gordon – Cohesive Collections

Seeing Robert Gordon’s full suite up close was a treat. Matching basin and pendant finishes? Thoughtfully restrained and beautifully cohesive.

12. AWS – Minimal Window Framing

AWS is refining how we think about doors and windows. Their high-performing, minimal-profile systems offer cleaner sightlines—no more bulky stackers here.

13. Kave Home – Mediterranean Style, Accessible Price

Our first in-person look at Kave Home did not disappoint. Made in Spain, full of personality, and surprisingly affordable—great for style-conscious clients on a budget.

14. Quercus & Co. – Handcrafted Wallpaper

Textural, layered, and full of heart. These wallpapers strike that rare balance between bold and liveable, with colour palettes that feel ready to move into.

That’s a wrap!
