A Home Designed from the Ground Up
Unlike the cottage renovation, Barefoot Bay Villa was a complete ground-up design by The Designory. Five years on, walking through it again feels just as magical as the day it was completed.
Set in the heart of Byron Bay, this holiday home was designed as a gathering place—for families, friends, and anyone who wants to slow down, connect, and celebrate life by the beach.
From the moment you enter, Barefoot Bay Villa feels vibrant, playful, and filled with character. Every detail has been carefully considered, bringing together colour, whimsy, and layers of texture that make a stay here truly unforgettable.
The home sleeps up to 14 people across five bedrooms—including a bunk room made just for kids—with 4.5 bathrooms, a laundry, and all the thoughtful inclusions you’d expect in a retreat of this calibre.
Barefoot Bay Villa is built for both entertainment and relaxation. It offers two indoor lounging areas, a dedicated dining room, and a 12-seater covered outdoor dining and lounge pavilion—all cocooned in lush tropical gardens. The centrepiece? A natural swimming pool that blends seamlessly into its surroundings, inviting you to swim, play, and unwind.
Just moments from the beach and town, Barefoot Bay Villa is more than a holiday home—it’s a celebration of contemporary coastal design. Perfect for groups, families, and year-round enjoyment, it captures the essence of Byron living at its best.
